Four Wrestlers Earn Medals In PIAA AAA State Individual Championships

Four Wrestlers earned medals in the PIAA AAA Wrestling Individual State Championships in Hershey this past weekend.

Matt Cimato '12 took third place at 140 pounds, Joey Mazzi '11 finished 4th at 130 pounds, Shane Springer '12 claimed 5th at 160 pounds and heavyweight Ryan Geiger '11 came in eighth place.

Overall, La Salle finished in 7th place in the state out of 117 teams and was the top team from Southeastern Pennsylvania with 51 team points.

Joey Mazzi finishes his La Salle career with the most wins in school history.
