Swim Team's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay Team Named 2011-12 National Champions
The La Salle College High School 200 Yard Freestyle Relay Team of Eric Schultz '12, Chris Szekely '12, Greg Rogers '13, & Sean Regan '13 has been crowned National Champions by the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association for the 2011-12 school year.
The Relay Team's time of 1.22.91 in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay at the PIAA State Championships was the best time in the country by one-hundreth of a second over New Trier High School of Winnetka, Illinois. In addition, the 200 Yard Medley Relay Team of Joe Maginnis '13, Mike McBryan '13, Luke Maguire '12, and Greg Rogers '13 were named All-Americans by swimming the 3rd best time in the country this year. Their time of 1:31:83 also set a new Pennsylvania State Record at the PIAA State Championships. The 400 Yard Freestyle Relay Team of Eric Schultz '12, Joe Maginnis '13, Sean Regan '13 & Chris Szekely '12 were also named All-Americans by swimming the fourth best time in the country this year (3:02:74) - also at the PIAA State Championships.

The La Salle College High School Swim Team won the program's 1st PIAA State Championship in school history on March 15, 2012 and has won 24 consecutive Philadelphia Catholic League titles.
