Water Polo Team Wins Beast of the East Tournament
The Beast of the East is the largest water polo tournament outside of California. This year's event featured 74 squads, which included programs from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut and Ohio.

The La Salle College High School Varsity Water Polo team won the Flight III Beast of the East Championship Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Reading High School.
The Explorers competed in six games over the weekend in both Pottsville and Reading, getting 3 straight wins vs Germantown Academy, Wyoming Valley West, and Episcopal Academy to wrap up the championship.

In addition, the JV water polo made the championship game of the JV Beast of the East before falling to Malvern 7-2 on Saturday in Muhlenberg. The team had wins over North Penn and Cumberland Valley.
