An 80 yard goal from La Salle College High School Lacrosse Defenseman Stefan Bergman '13 vs Haverford School on April 27, 2013 was showcased on ESPN's SportsCenter's Top 10 Plays for the Month of April. The goal was the number 9 top play for the entire month of sports coverage.
The video was shot by Nick Higgins '13 of the Sports Information Club and uploaded to La Salle's WEXP-TV YouTube Channel by Director of Multimedia Technology Mr. Rob Johnson on Sunday, April 29th. Higgins and members of Mr. Johnson's Advanced Multimedia Course used social media to get the attention of ESPN. The video first aired on the Prime Time 6 PM SportsCenter on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 and continued to air throughout the day on Wednesday, May 1, 2013.
