Bill Leahy, who started the Lacrosse Program at La Salle College High School in 1992 and is now in his 21st year as head coach, earned his 400th career victory on May 29, 2013 with a 6-4 win in the PIAA playoffs against Garnet Valley High School.

The team celebrated the milestone victory at the conclusion of the following game, a 13-4 victory over Garnett Valley, by presenting Coach Leahy with a commemorative stick and ball.

Coach later picked up wins 401 and 402 as the Explorers won the PIAA State Title vs Conestoga on Saturday, June 8, 2013.

Leahy, the school’s only coach in the history of the program, improved his record to 402-78 overall this season. He has won four state titles and 18 Catholic League titles and this winter was inducted into the Eastern PA Chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
