This fall season for the La Salle College High School Crew team has been one of great change and hard work. Throughout the fall, the team met with one goal in mind, to push one another endlessly on and off the water in order to gain a level of fitness that would put them a step above the rest. The mantra for the fall has been "fast equals fun" and with the hard work and determination, the mantra came to life.

The team competed in three events this fall season: The Navy Day Regatta, Head of the Charles Regatta, and the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta. The team garnered first place in the Navy Day Regatta in both the JV and Varsity events.

In Boston at the Head of the Charles, the varsity 4 and varsity 8 represented the team where the V8 earned a 10th place finish out of 84 competitors from around the country and parts of Europe. The varsity four finished 64th out 84 competitors.

To conclude the season, the team won both the Varsity and JV events at the Head of the Schuylkill against competition throughout the northeast. The results of the La Salle crew team were the best results the team has seen in many years.

Through the hard work and dedication to one another, the La Salle crew team was able to finish strongly. The team will begin preparations for the spring season by moving indoors after Thanksgiving. The team is enthused to continue their success as they march toward the Stotesbury Cup Regatta in May.
