Tennis Team Wins 8th Consecutive Philadelphia Catholic League Championship
The Explorers also finish the 2013-14 season undefeated in Catholic League play.

The La Salle College High School Varsity Tennis Team defeated Saint Joseph's Prep 4-1 on April 28, 2014 at FDR park to win the Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL) Championship. The title is the 8th consecutive PCL Tennis Title for the program (2007-2014).

The Explorers also finish the 2013-14 season undefeated in Catholic League play.


The team now advances to defend the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) District 12 Title against the Philadelphia Public League Champion.

The City Championship Game will be played next week at Legacy Youth Tennis Center (formerly Arthur Ashe).
