Kyle Shurmur '15 Commits to Vanderbilt

Kyle Shurmur '15, a 6-foot-4, 215 lb. quarterback committed to play at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN after taking an unofficial visit to the school. He chose Vanderbilt over a number of Division I schools, including Cincinnati, Illinois, Pittsburgh, Temple, Buffalo, Central Florida, and Central Michigan, all of whom had made scholarship offers. As a junior, Shurmur threw for 2,400 yards and 25 touchdowns in directing La Salle College High School to an 8-4 season. He is also an All-State Swimmer
