Mr. Rob Johnson received an Emmy nomination for a show he produced for Comcast SportsNet in Philadelphia.

La Salle College High School's Director of Multimedia Technology and Social Media, Mr. Robert Johnson, was recently nominated by the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for an Emmy Award. In addition to his duties at La Salle, which include moderator of WEXPTV and the Sports Information Club and teaching Adobe Certification Courses, Mr. Johnson is a freelance show producer for Comcast SportsNet in Philadelphia. Prior to coming to La Salle in 2006, Mr. Johnson had worked at CSN since 2002 and has worked at the station on a freelance basis since 2007.

Mr. Johnson was the lead show producer for Comcast Sportsnet's Sixers Pre-Game Live Show on March 1, 2014 which featured the jersey retirement ceremony for Sixers legend Allen Iverson. The show was nominated in the category of Outstanding Sports Interview/Discussion Show along with two shows from the Eagles Television Network along with an episode of Philly Sports Talk also from Comcast SportsNet.
