Mr. Joseph Parisi Inducted Into Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame
The current Athletic Director was a two-time PIAA State Champion during his 28 year tenure as La Salle Baseball Head Coach.

La Salle College High School Athletic Director Mr. Joseph Parisi was inducted into the City All Star Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame on April 7, 2015.

During his time at La Salle, Mr. Parisi has coached both basketball and baseball and held the position of Athletic Director twice (1991-2001 and 2012-present). During his 28 seasons at the helm of the Varsity Baseball Program, 17 of his teams reached the PCL Semifinals, 7 reached the Finals and four won the Philadelphia Catholic League Championship. In 2012 and 2014, he helped lead the Explorers to the PIAA AAAA State Championship.

Mr. Parisi was named Southeastern PA Baseball Coach of the Year by the Philadelphia Inquirer in 2012 & 2014. He retired from coaching after the 2014 season.

In addition to his accomplishments at La Salle, Joe has worked as a volunteer with the Philadelphia Phillies RBI Program and is a member of the Executive Board of the Carpenter Cup Classic.

The Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame was founded in 1962 to perpetuate the memory of athletes, who have brought lasting fame and recognition to the State of Pennsylvania through their athletic achievements.
