Brett Werner '18 Named 2017 Catholic League Soccer MVP

The goalie helped lead the Explorers to their 2nd consecutive Catholic League and District XII Championship this season.

La Salle College High School Senior Goalie Brett Werner '18 was named the 2017 Philadelphia Catholic League Most Valuable Player at the league's All-Catholic Banquet on Sunday, January 14th.

Werner helped lead the Explorers to their 2nd consecutive Catholic League and District XII Championship this season. in 22 starts this season, Werner had 12 shutouts and was named All-Catholic for the 2nd straight season. Overall in his La Salle career, Werner picked up 38 shutouts in 65 starts.

The senior keeper will be taking his game to La Salle University in the Fall to continue his academic and athletic career.
