Explorers Inc. Spends The Day At Union League With Alumni
Explorers Inc. is a business club for students wanting to learn more about Entrepreneurship, Business Leadership, Personal Finances, and Business Concepts.
On Tuesday, April 4th, nine members of the Explorers Inc. Club were guests of the Philadelphia Union League.
La Salle Alumni, who are also members of the Union League, shared lunch with the students and engaged in a meaningful discussion about the value of networking and how to build one's career through the power of the La Salle Network.
The La Salle students along with club moderator, Patti Finlay, were given an insightful tour of the Union League building which has a rich history dating back to the time of President Abraham Lincoln. The afternoon concluded with an in-depth visit of the Union League's exhibit entitled: "Risk and Reward, Entrepreneurship and the Making of Philadelphia."
Explorers Inc. would like to thank Tom Lynch '58, Joe Slabinski '67, Steve Gardner '72, Mike Cassidy '74, Ron Matthew '83, Drew Morrisroe '92, Max Morgan '06, and our host, John Meko '86, for their time, their insight and for their loyalty to La Salle College High School.
