IST Department Sets Record For Most Industry-Level Certifications Tests Passed

The Information Sciences and Technology Department, through our partnership with Certiport, offers certification tests in Microsoft, Adobe and AutoDesk Software on campus.

La Salle College High School's Information Sciences and Technology (IST) Department, through our partnership with Certiport, offers various industry-level certification tests on campus for Microsoft, Adobe, and AutoDesk software via our Certiport Authorized Testing Center.

Students enrolled in our IST classes during the school year as well as students enrolled in the Microsoft IT Academy Summer Program are eligible to take the certification tests as their final exam.

During the 2015-16 school year, 137 certifications were achieved by our students - the most ever during a single school year at La Salle.

Students received certifications in the following software:

98-349: MTA: Windows Operating System Fundamentals
98-361: MTA: Software Development Fundamentals
98-364: MTA: Database Fundamentals
98-365: MTA: Windows® Server Administration Fundamentals
98-366: MTA: Networking Fundamentals
98-367: MTA: Security Fundamentals
98-368: MTA: Mobility and Device Fundamentals
98-369: MTA: Cloud Fundamentals
98-374: MTA: Gaming Development Fundamentals
