La Salle Basketball Gets National Exposure on ESPN SportsCenter

A slam dunk by Konrad Kiszka '19 was named the Top 5 Play of the Day on Friday, January 4th.


A slam dunk by La Salle Varsity Basketball's Konrad Kiszka '19 received some national exposure on Friday, January 4th by being named the Top 5 Play of the night on ESPN's SportsCenter. The Explorers also picked up a victory of BIshop McDevitt in the process 58-35.

The dunk was recorded by Basketball Manager's Shea Diehl '19 and Liam Turnbach '19 as well as Philadelphia Inquirer Reporter Ace Carter. The Lasallian alumni network was on full display as former WEXPtv Member and current ESPN Production Assistant Chris Jastrzemsbki coordinated with the La Salle Media Department to ensure the footage made its way to Bristol for SportsCenter that evening.

The Explorers also defeated Conwell-Egan on Sunday to improve to 5-0 in the Catholic League for the 1st time since the 1984-85 season. Kiszka will be attending Princeton University in the fall.
