La Salle Theater Announces Cast For 2018 Spring Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone
In addition, the shows will have a new online reserved-seat ticketing system for all performances
After auditioning 100 students, including 55 girls from seven area schools, the final casting decisions were announced this week for La Salle College High School's 2018 Spring Musical, "The Drowsy Chaperone."
Led by seniors Jack Gimpel, Patrick Mizzoni, Matthew Harkins, Jacob Weyand, Ryan Cramer, Lauren Esser (GMA), Sarah Hodgson (MSJA), Audrey Trullinger (MSJA), Annie Meko (MSJA), and Sophie Craig (GMA), this year's production promises to provide audiences with a great night of musical entertainment, and non-stop laughter.
Regarded as one of the most creative and outrageously funny musicals, The Drowsy Chaperone garnered six Tony Awards and seven Drama Desk Awards, including Best Musical, and ran for 674 performances on Broadway.
Also, in response to an ever increasing number of "special requests" for reserved seating, we are happy and excited to announce that we will be introducing a new on-line reserved seating system with this year's production of The Drowsy Chaperone.
Working with ShowTix, we have devised a seating map for each performance that will allow patrons to select their seats from the four hundred Reserved Seats located in the center section of the floor, and front section of the balcony, or purchase one of the two hundred General Admission Seats available for seating in the side sections of the floor and rear of the balcony. Tickets will go on sale in mid-February and prices will be $18 for Reserved Seating and $15 for General Admission, including all costs and fees from ShowTix.
