La Salle Welcomes New International Students For 2017-18 School Year
Our International Students Program now has 18 students from China for 2017-18 school year.

The La Salle College High School Community welcomed new international students Edward Zehua Niu, Alex Junyi Wu, Popler Yanglin Hu and Kenneth Yuxuan Wu on August 21, 2017. Our International Students Program has now 18 students for 2017-18 school year.
The students joined faculty and staff in an orientation program which was held throughout the week led by Mrs. Nary Smith with assistance from upperclassmen Royce Xu, Tyler Liu and Chris Li.
The program included activities which included (1) a meet and greet session with school administrators where we shared a Chinese-American cuisine (2) a tour of La Salle's campus, (3) subject areas placement tests and (4) a field trip to Philadelphia's Independence National Historical Museum and the National Liberty Museum followed by lunch in Chinatown.
The key to our orientation is to ensure that our new students are well prepared to acclimate to the American educational system and our school culture. As part of this ongoing initiative, the I- Students had opportunities to ask questions from their peers' experience which will make for a smooth transition to their new classroom.
