Pelusi '17 wins FLOX-Calibur as Explorers Finish in 10th Place
Explorers will compete over the break December 28th and 29th at the prestigious Bethlehem Holiday Classic.

The La Salle College High School Wrestling Team traveled up to Wilkes University last Friday and Saturday to compete in the FLOX-Calibur.
The team, plagued with injuries, finished in 10th place with only half a line-up. The highlight match of the tournament was the heavyweight finals, where Vincenzo Pelusi '17 defeated Stroudsburg's Jack Williamson in sudden victory overtime to be crowned the champion.
Another finalist was Luke Ratchford '17 who lost to 23rd ranked wrestler in the state in the finals from Scranton. Mike McLaren '18 had a strong performance finishing third with one loss coming to eventual champion Alan Diltz from Benton Area. To finish out La Salle Explorers performance this past weekend was Garrett Zobel '18 who finished in 5th place at 220lbs.
Patrick Deacon '17 also had two wins this past weekend making it to the quarter finals. With only seven wrestlers La Salle finished in 10th place out of 28 teams, a positive performance from the Explorers.
