La Salle Robotics team members returned from Christmas break, and they got to unwrap their favorite gift of all... the FIRST Robotics Competition 2018 Game Power Up! The release of the game kicks off a six week long build season which will be followed by a competition season this March.

Over the course of the build season, students are expected to learn the game rules and determine the best ways to score. Having completed our first week, the team has the remaining five weeks to design, build, and program a competition ready robot in our newly designed Robotics Shop in the basement of Kestler Hall (formerly classroom 031A & 031B).

Now in its fifth year, La Salle Robotics is led by a group of teachers, alumni, and parent mentors working shoulder to shoulder with student team members. Share in the team's excitement this season by downloading this student-created 8-bit version of our Alma Mater which was inspired by this year's retro arcade theme.

Stay up to date with the team on Twitter this season at https://twitter.com/lschs_robotics?lang=en.
