Rugby Team Has a Face for Radio

The La Salle Rugby team took over 96.5 AMP Radio on Wednesday, May 18th from 8-10 PM. Ten La Salle ruggers were invited to join DJ Bennett's show to promote the Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championship on June 4th and 5th at Talen Energy Stadium. The Explorers will be participating in the high school division of the college competition.
A group of varsity rugby players toured the CBS Radio studios, shot promos, gave shout outs, and selected the setlist for the night show on the pop radio station. One player, Jamel Moore, may have even dropped a tune of his own. Later the team took some pictures with DJ Bennett and showed him a little about the game.
