Varsity Basketball Team Advances To Catholic League Championship For First Time Since 1991
The Explorers will face Roman Catholic at The Palestra on Monday, February 25th at 8:30 PM.
The La Salle College High School Varsity Basketball Team defeated Bishop McDevitt 49-41 at The Palestra to advance to the Philadelphia Catholic League Championship for the 1st time since 1991.
The Explorers will face Roman Catholic in a rematch of that 1991 Championship Game at The Palestra on Monday, February 25th at 8:30 PM.
The Explorers have won 8 PCL Championships in School History - 1936, 1937, 1942, 1946, 1948, 1950, 1963, 1981.
According to Ted Silary, Mike McKee is the 11th Head Coach to advance to the Philadelphia Catholic League Championship in his 1st year as Head Coach.
