Water Polo Team Completes Annual Community Service Project

The Water Polo Team and Coaches worked with the Travis Manion Foundation to create care packages for troops stationed at Camp Manion in Iraq.

The La Salle College High School Water Polo team recently completed its annual team community service project.

Players and coaches collected, sorted, and made 300 care packages for the troops stationed in Iraq. Working with the Travis Manion Foundation, these care packages will be sent to Camp Manion to be distributed in early December to the service men and women stationed there.

The care packages contain personally written thank you letters from the students and families of La Salle, granola bars, chewing gum, chap stick, crossword puzzle magazines, pens, writing paper, xmas cards for the troops to send home to their families, single drink packets, playing cards, and hackie sack balls.
