At the end of July, eight La Salle College High School students, along with moderator Mr. Simon Pinder, attended a three-day Yearbook Workshop on the historic campus of Gettysburg College. The students, who will form the core of the 2018 Yearbook Team, received the most thorough, up-to-date yearbook instruction available today, featuring some of the most highly acclaimed yearbook advisers in the nation and experts from all fields of journalism.

Key sessions included: theme concepts; graphic design; caption and headline writing; photography, photojournalism, and Photoshop; planning, production, and deadline management; marketing and promotion. Over the coming school year, the students' work on the yearbook will be incorporated into their one-credit, self-study 'Print Design Management' course and their experience at Gettysburg will have certainly given them a great head start.

The Print Management Course is one of our newest courses for the 2017-18 school year offered through our robust Information Sciences and Technology Department Curriculum. Learn more at http://www.lschs.org/academics/departments.
