World Language Students Earn Medals In Annual Oral Proficiency Contest

On Tuesday, February 26th 2019, 10 students participated in the 38th Annual James J. Doyle Oral Proficiency Contest at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.

Participants representing French, Chinese and Spanish language were: Ben Fall, Michael Zavatsky, Matt Curran, Michael Quigley, Zach Whiting, Max Huber, Peter Taylor, George Lynch, Andrew Talone, and James Giordano.

Among the 17 participating schools, La Salle won 1st place for the Interscholastic Trivia Contest – Trophy will be here once our school's name is engraved!

4 students from the Chinese Language were recognized with silver or gold medals:

- Michael Quigley - Gold in Chinese 01.

-Zachary Whiting - Gold in Chinese 1.

-Peter Taylor – Silver in Chinese Advanced

-Max Huber – Silver in Chinese 3.
