Digital Media and Communication
The Digital Media and Communication Concentration exposes students to an assortment of careers in media that are constantly evolving. Students will use the WEXPtv Media Program’s state-of-the-art studio to jumpstart themselves on paths towards careers in journalism, video production, social media, digital marketing, public relations, Esports and various other iterations of content creation. Students will learn and incorporate Digital Media Tools from Adobe Creative Cloud, become Certified Professionals through our partnership with Certiport and continue to produce award-winning content for La Salle College High School, as well as for their own personal brands.

La Salle College High School has been a long-time partner with Certiport, the industry-leader in technology certification, and offers students enrolled in our Concentration Programs an opportunity to earn an industry-level certification in Adobe, Microsoft, AutoDesk and Cisco software.

Sean, currently a freshmen at Villanova University and producing content for the basketball team, won the Mid-Atlantic NATAS Emmy for Multimedia Journalist in May 2024.
Since 1968, KYW Newsradio has given high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of a major market radio station with the Newstudies student reporter program.
Professionals from various fields – photography, for example – are teaching elective courses through the program, offering their knowledge and then giving the students a chance to develop their skills through real-world experience.
Anchor Danny Rovi earned an Emmy nomination in the talent category for the 4th straight year and our behind the scenes crew of producers and editors picked up nominations for the 5th consecutive year as well.
On April 17th, eight Engineering Concentration seniors presented their capstone projects to a panel of engineering mentors as well as interested parents and underclassmen.
