For over 160 years, La Salle College High School has provided a college preparatory education for young men in the Philadelphia area. La Salle students are taught to be critical thinkers who are well prepared academically, able to communicate effectively, and lead confidently.

The Admissions Office at La Salle College High School invites students and parents to register for any of our Admissions Events using our comprehensive Registration Form. You can register for a year's worth of events all at once or return and register multiple times.

8th Grade Students - Spend a Day at La Salle

All 8th grade students are invited to spend a full day at La Salle College High School, starting Tuesday, September 1, 2020. This is the best way to experience the atmosphere, spirit, and challenges that await our young men. 

Please note that we can accommodate five 8th Grade Visitors per day.  If you are unable to select a certain date, that is because it has already maxed out.  We hope that there is another date that fits your sons schedule.

7th grade students are invited to spend a day at La Salle during the months of March and April.

8th Grade Scholarship/Entrance Exam

All 8th grade students applying for 9th grade are required to take the Scholarship/Entrance Exam. All applicants will be considered for admission and academic scholarships based on exam performance, prior and current academic achievement and recommendations.*

* - Submitting an application for admission automatically registers the student for the Scholarship/Entrance Exam.

Personal Tours

All prospective students and families are invited to visit our beautiful 84-acre campus in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania for a personal tour. Tours at La Salle are conducted while classes are in session (September 1, 2020 through March 31, 2021).


Mornings at La Salle

Parents of prospective students are invited to attend a “Morning at La Salle.” The program provides parents with an academic presentation, classroom visits, and a question and answer session with faculty, administrators, and students.

Each session runs from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Space is limited, so please preregister early to reserve your spot.

in the area as well as the exceptional offerings at La Salle College High School.

Practice Tests at La Salle

All 6th and 7th grade students are encouraged to take a practice test on Saturday, April 17, 2021. The fee for this exam is $60. Please note that the test for 6th graders will be modified and only include questions on Math and English. Both tests are administered for practice purposes and are not used for the granting of scholarships or awarding acceptance to La Salle College High School. Visit the school website for details.

Spend A Day - 7th Graders

Seventh Graders may Spend A Day at La Salle starting Monday, March 1 and running through Friday, April 30. 




Spring Open House - Sunday, May 2, 2021

La Salle's Spring Open House will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. All of the school’s facilities and programs will be available to prospective students and their families. The program will include presentations, demonstrations, and guided tours.
