Volunteers

The La Salle Volunteer Program began in September of 1998 with two graduates from the class of 1994. Our volunteers join us for one year. Their work involves some classroom commitments, substituting for absent teachers, participating in the school's retreat program, moderating school activities, assisting in the school's community service program, assisting in development efforts, and devoting their time and effort in service to La Salle and its students. In addition, volunteers develop an extended academic, research or service project under the direction of a faculty or staff member. The project will be geared to the volunteer’s talents and interests. It’s a great experience—and great experience.

Letters have been mailed inviting the Class of 2015 to consider a similar volunteering of service for the 2019-2020 school year. If you will be graduating from college in May of 2019 and if the opportunity for a year of volunteer service at our alma mater interests you, I would like to hear from you.  For the 2019-2020 La Salle Volunteer Program we can accept a total of 2 volunteers. A completed Application Packet needs to be in my office by Friday, February 1, 2019.

Everything you need to apply is here on this page. If you have any questions, please call 215-233-2911.

Alumni Association

The Alumni Association is dedicated to the mission of La Salle College High School and its namesake, Saint John Baptist de La Salle. The mission has at its core the education of young men of various financial means. Accordingly, one of the primary goals of the Alumni Association is the funding of need-based grants for the sons and grandsons of Alumni. The Alumni Association also effectively supports eight decades of active Alumni with various communications, publications, and events throughout the year.
