The JV Explorers opened the season with a 51-30 victory over visiting SCH. After a slow start, the Explorers turned up the intensity in the 2nd half, sparked by a 15-5 run in the third quarter. Sam Brown paced the offense with 11 points and 5 rebounds, Brian Cawley netted 9 points and snagged 5 rebounds, while Shane Holland chipped in 9 points and played tremendous defense. Connor Donohue had a nice game off the bench with 7 points, and Liam O'Donnell chipped in 6.

Big 3's from Powell, Beard, and Timby sparked a late run to seal the victory. Allen Powell paced the offense with 17 points, while Konrad Kiszka posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Zack Crisler netted 14 points and Titus Beard chipped in 10.
