Senior Shane Holland scored a career-high 19 points and fellow senior Liam O'Donnell contributed 12 as the Explorers opened the season with a 22 point victory over Germantown Academy at the 46th Annual Triangle Club Basketball Tournament.

The game marked the final regular season game for Bill "Speedy" Morris, the legendary coach of Saint Joseph's Prep.

The win marked the Explorers 6th consecutive Indoor title, and 16th straight win for the Cross Country/Track & Field program.
The annual tournament will take place December 2-4 in the gym.
La Salle College High School is pleased to announce that Michael Brown, a member of the Class of 1976, has been named as head coach of the rowing program. A champion oarsman at La Salle, Mr. Brown returns to his alma mater after a successful 15-year stint as founding coach of the rowing program at Merion Mercy Academy.
