  • Head Coach

    Coach Leahy is in his 26th year as Head Coach at La Salle College High School. He has achieved an overall record of 454 W - 98 L (302 W - 4 L in the Catholic League) which includes the 2004, 2008, 2009, and 2013 PA State Championship, 2005 & 2007 EPSLA Finals, 2010, 2011, & 2016 PIAA Finals, 2006 EPSLA Final Four, & 20 Philadelphia Catholic League Championships. He is a 1992 graduate of Loyola College in Maryland where he played and coached midfield and was considered a face-off specialist. From 1995-1996 he played forward for the Philadelphia Wings. Coach Leahy coached the 2007 U.S. South UnderArmour All American Team. In 2010 Coach Leahy was the first lacrosse coach to be inducted into the Montgomery County Coaches Hall of Fame, and in 2013 he was inducted into the Philadelphia Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Coach Leahy was an assistant coach for the 2016 U-19 Gold Medal winning US Lacrosse team.

  • Defensive Coordinator

    Mr. Resch is the Associate Head Coach and Defensive Co-ordinator for La Salle College High School's Varsity Lacrosse team. His experience in the game of lacrosse is extensive as he was a player for William Penn Charter School and an All-American at Yale University. After college he went on to play for the World Champion 1990 United States World Team and to be the Head Coach at the William Penn Charter School and for Philadelphia's professional indoor team the Wings. Coach Resch has served as the Head Coach of the Two time World Champion (MLL) Philadelphia Barrage. He earned the 2006 & 2008 MLL "Coach of the Year" award along with his team championships. Mr. Resch also served as an assistant coach for the World Champion 2010 United States World Team. He was the Defensive Coordinator for the MLL Chesapeake BayHawks from 2012-2014, and Defensive Coordinator for the MLL Charlotte Hounds in 2015-2016. Coach Resch was the head coach for the Bronze Medal winning 2015 US Men's Indoor team. In 2018, Coach Resch will be an assistant coach for the US Men's Lacrosse team.

  • Assistant Coach

    Coach Harrington attended Germantown Academy where he was a 2 year starter, and a First Team All Inter-AC, First Team All State player, and MVP of the 1990 PA State Championship Game.  Coach Harrington then went on to play 4 years at Loyola University in Baltimore MD, making 4 trips to the NCAA playoffs as a Long Stick Midfielder and Defenseman.

    Coach Harrington played club lacrosse in Philadelphia for MAB and Quaker Lacrosse Club from 1994-2003.

    He is a member of the Germantown Academy Athletic Hall of Fame.

  • Assistant Coach

    Coach Dougherty '00 was a face-off specialist for the 2000 PCL Championship team. He went on to play at West Chester University. Coach Dougherty has been an assistant coach since 2014 specializing in face-offs, wing play, and managing the substitution box. Mr. Dougherty is also the Dean of Enrollment Management at La Salle College High School.

The Crease Club is a parents organization dedicated to the La Salle lacrosse team players and coaches. In other words, if you are a parent of a player, YOU are the Crease Club!

Our primary purpose is to make the lacrosse experience for our boys the best it can be by organizing team meetings and socials, making sure information is readily available and distributed, and assist the coaching staff in whatever is needed for the benefit of the team.
