Welcome to the La Salle College High School Baseball Web Site. Here, you will find links that will provide you with Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshman team schedules along with team rosters and profiles for all the coaches.

The Baseball News & Events section of the page will have information regarding fundraising and social events that will be held throughout the season. Game scores and details will be available on this page as the season progresses. Score only will be posted for the Junior Varsity and Freshman teams.

In the event of inclement weather, all postponements and cancellations will be posted on the school Website as soon as the information is available.

Students looking to join the WEXPtv Team Advanced Media Production Course (1061) for 2021-22 should contact Mr. Johnson. Do you like to edit, stream, twitch, and produce content for Social Media? Get your samples to Mr. Johnson ASAP. Students who have already taken an Adobe Course are welcome to apply as well. Contact Mr. Johnson to get approval for this course.

We have re-imagined this favorite, spring-time event to comply with current health and safety restrictions. So, join us under the Meehan Field Tents for a Garden Party featuring tombola tables, a picnic boxed lunch, and fashions by Giana Rose Couture and J.Crew Factory. If you are a current junior that has an interest in the human body or pursuing a career in the medical field, then this course may be for you. A&P is a full year Science course that investigates all eleven human body systems. If interested, please tell your grade level counselor or email Mr. Butt. Course approval needed, along with a B average in all your previous sciences.

For the summer of 2021 we are excited to offer an intensified two day service immersion program to all rising seniors and juniors, working in a variety of capacities in the Philadelphia area. Working in smaller groups, this program is designed to provide students with a hands-on exposure to the many challenges facing those in our community living below the poverty line. We will be working with many of our long-standing service partners in Kensington, North Philadelphia, West Philadelphia, and Center City with the primary focus of the program being on the issues of homelessness, food insecurity, addiction, isolation, and education. The Pheed Philly In-School Casserole (Homeless Outreach Cooking) will be running twice monthly from 2:45pm - 3:45pm in the auditorium. We are hoping the Outreach portion for the boys will return when policy allows. Every day over one million people in the Philadelphia area are faced with the issue of food insecurity. The Pheed Philly program prepares family sized nutritious meals for distribution to those in need in partnership with Mother Mercy House in Kensington. The program will run every other week throughout the second semester. Space is limited to ten students, and sign-ups are required. The sign-up sheet is located on the Mission & Ministry bulletin board adjacent to the Student Activities office. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Dominick in Campus Ministry or Mrs. Giuliani in the school store. The dates below are tentatively scheduled and may be subject to change.

A Message from Brother James Butler, FSC

As most of you will have seen, Governor Wolf has issued orders extending the closing of schools. The tentative earliest date schools may reopen is now set for Monday, April 6, 2020. As all of us have come to appreciate, this date is a guarantee written in water. Depending on the progress of the disease and the success of containment and suppression activities, this date will be subject to further extension if need be.

Baseball Camp Week 1 (Offensive Focus)

Dates: July 9-12 (Rain Date: July 13)

Age: Entering 2nd to 9th Grade

Cost: $235*

* Discounted rate of $420 for players attending both weeks.

Dates: July 16-19 (Rain Date: July 20)

Infield Bootcamp

Infield Bootcamp – Session I – July 30 – Aug 1 (2nd is a rain date)

Infield Bootcamp – Session II – August 13-15 (16th is a rain date)

Time: 9-Noon each day

Age: Entering 5th to 9th Grade

Cost: $235 (both session discount $420)

Location: Ward Field (Varsity Field) @ LaSalle College High School

Max Enrollment: 20 players (at least 4-to-1 Player/Coach Ratio)

Hitting Bootcamp

The La Salle Hitting Bootcamp is designed to provide intense individualized hitting instruction in a small group setting. What makes this camp unique is the player/coach ratio and limited enrollment. This camp promises at least a 4-to-1 player/coach ratio with a max camp enrollment of just 20 players. Broken into 3-hour blocks spread over three consecutive days, the camp immerses players in hitting instruction and repetitions as campers work with LaSalle coaches and current players to develop their swing.
