Competition Band
The competition jazz band is the pinnacle of the La Salle music program. Its members are chosen through a rigorous audition process and are all talented musicians.
Lab Band
The Lab Band is like the JV team to the Varsity Competition Band. Students are selected based on their performance of a provided audition piece.
Pep Band
The Pep Band is the heart and soul of La Salle that cheers on the team and excites the fans from the sidelines at every football game and school functions throughout the year. All horn players are welcome to join. Guitarists, bassists, and drummers are selected from music evaluations in the spring. All members of the Competition and Lab band are required to participate.
Pit Orchestra
La Salle’s pit orchestra is hand selected to feature our top musicians in the music department’s most ambitious feat of the year. Students practice and perform professional Broadway scores to accompany La Salle’s Spring Musical, live, under the direction of a student conductor.
