Within the academic program you will find the collective work of a faculty grounded in the mission of Lasallian education while, at the same time, understanding of the rigorous demands of a college preparatory school. This balance between the demands of a mission-based education in Christian service, faith, and love and the demands of a pre-collegiate curriculum is what makes La Salle College High School great.
La Salle provides many programs to support students with the challenges of a college preparatory curriculum. The David Program is an outstanding program which provides additional support for students with learning differences. The National Honors Society has a strong tradition of pairing students in peer-to-peer tutoring for specific academic subjects. With the completion of the new academic wing and the renovation of McLean Hall, Academic Departments now have Resource Centers which provide additional assistance from faculty members throughout the school day. La Salle also maintains a strong tradition of grade level counselors monitroing academic struggles and helping to identify appropriate means of support.
