WEXPtv Studio
The new Content Creation and Innovation Studio is home to the WEXPtv Media Network. WEXP is La Salle College High School’s student run media network.
Students produce a weekly online broadcast focusing on life at La Salle. All students in the program get access to the Adobe Creative Cloud to create digital content at school and at home. You can view the show live online during the school year at www.youtube.com/wexptv.
In addition to producing a live daily show, the TV studio and Multimedia Editing Computer Lab are an integral part of La Salle's Digital Multimedia Curriculum. La Salle offers three levels of Multimedia Production Courses: Multimedia Productions, Advanced Multimedia Productions and Multimedia Management. Students gain hands-on experience using the latest digital technology to shoot, edit and share digital content using the Adobe Creative Suite. To see examples of our student work visit the multimedia gallery and La Salle's YouTube Channel.
The Content Creation Studio also serves as the centerpiece of the Sports Information Club - a club that updates the school community about the latest news about La Salle's Athletic department including video highlights, interviews, and podcasts with our coaches and athletes. You can find more info about the Sports Information Club at www.twitter.com/LaSalle_Sports.
