“LaSalle has taught me to be composed and confident. This came from leadership opportunities in robotics, performances in the music program, and most especially the public speaking skills taught to me during my early years on the speech and debate team.”

"Choose Your Path" refers to the sheer amount of opportunities offered by La Salle. No matter who you are, your interests are well catered to at La Salle. Whether you are interested in football, water polo, or bowling, La Salle has a competitive team to allow you to pursue your passion. Those with talents in engineering can join robotics and gain access to a fully equips workshop. This will allow them to learn how to use a wide varieties of tools and work with others to tackle the complicated challenges of building a competition-ready robot. The theater program offers a creative outlet to all those interested in acting. Broadway shows are put on with a live student pit orchestra allowing a fantastic theater experience. This theme to IT, community service, and everything in between.

What I love most about La Salle is the strong student community which provides a sense of support to everyone. The hardest classes I have taken were made far easier by the large amount of cooperation between me and my peers. Confusion was not looked down on, making it easy to ask others for help. The explanations and assistance offered helped everyone involved fully engage with and understand the material. Outside of the classroom, the Lasallian community is welcoming to new students in extracurriculars. As a freshman in Speech and Debate, I received a massive amount of support from upperclassmen who were more than willing to take time out of their practice to make me feel like I was part of the team. They also pushed and helped me to be the best speaker I could be. These experiences, along with similar events in robotics and the music program, brought me into the Lasallian community despite my shy hesitance.

“There is a place for everyone at La Salle and you will find people that will help push you to be the best version of yourself regardless of whatever path you choose. ”

The extra curricular opportunities that La Salle offers is world renowned because the faculty and staff will take time and get to know you as an individual and help you on your journey of finding your way in the world.

I love the environment that la Salle offers. Everyone wants you to succeed in whatever route you go down whether that is academically, athletically, or the route I chose in technology.

“The thing I love most is the sense of community. There is a real brotherhood we have with our classmates that is very unique to this school. I've definitely branched out and met lots of new people and tried to get involved in new circles.”

"Choose Your Path" means that here at LaSalle you have the opportunity to have many different career paths open to you, and also you have the opportunity to go into many different creative paths and ways to express yourself. At LaSalle, there is really something for everyone.

I've chosen a fairly rigorous academic path with a handful of honors and one AP course. I'm hoping to join the tennis team in the springtime and I'm in the competition band and also the musical theater spring production of West Side Story.

The thing I love most about La Salle is the teachers and sense of community. With the teachers, I really enjoy getting more one-on-one time, the relationship they have with the students, and the general atmosphere the teachers create. The teachers seem like they genuinely care about our success and enjoy teaching us. The community at LSCHS is also unmatched, there is a real brotherhood we have with our classmates that is very unique to this school. I've definitely branched out and met lots of new people and tried to get involved in new circles.

“Our slogan “Choose Your Path” connects with me on a personal level. At La Salle, students get to choose what they want to do with their high school years and our options are not limited."

I’ve been afforded so many opportunities at La Salle, and I truly believe that anyone can find their talent here. I come from an underprivileged background and I would’ve never thought I would be able to pursue extracurriculars such as music or debate but here at La Salle, I get to do that. The freedom to decide what path to follow is an important part of our Lasallian curriculum that makes La Salle so special to me. I chose my path when I enrolled here and that is a decision that I am truly thankful for and will never regret.

La Salle became the place I look forward to coming to every day. I feel that my presence here is valued and this community has been nothing but supportive, which makes my experience here so special. In addition, my involvement at La Salle allows me to connect with the faculty and students that inspires me as a student but also as a person. There are so many things that I am thankful for that this community has given me but most importantly, it is the connections I have formed that I will cherish forever.

I’ve witnessed the Lasallian mission of immersive education through my teachers and mentor who are so involved with the La Salle community. In the classroom, students are taught academic subjects and concept based education. Outside the classroom, teachers and especially my mentors have taught me to grow not as a student but as an individual. Teachers are so supportive if you need additional support outside the allotted class time but during those moments, you learn to connect with people and meet mentors who genuinely care. I’ve witnessed it throughout my time at La Salle and it is these connections that makes me feel valued and supported at La Salle.

“What I love most about being a student at La Salle is the brotherhood. From my time here, I have fostered and developed some extraordinary friendships with great guys that I hope to continue after my time here.”

The mission of La Salle College High School is "Enter to Learn, Leave to Serve." La Salle really takes this motto to heart, educating and instilling its students with necessary real world skills as well as teaching us to apply ourselves outside of the building, serving our community and pursuing passions through extracurriculars.

As a student at La Salle, I am offered a plethora of unique opportunities. From these opportunities, I am able to choose and pursue activities and subjects I am passionate about, forging my own path and making my own way.

From my time at La Salle, I have cultivated a path of my own, taking advantage of many opportunities and getting involved in various clubs and activities, including Student Council, the Wrestling team, and WEXP. Utilizing La Salle’s many resources, I have even established my own art brand/portfolio, sharing my work with this great supportive community. Pursuing these interests and finding my own way has instilled me with confidence and a purpose I can dedicate myself to both in and out of the classroom.

“La Salle has helped me develop greatly not only as a student, but as a man. I feel that La Salle has instilled important values of faith and respect in my peers and I. I feel a strong connection with my school and will be forever grateful for what it has provided for me."

As a student here at La Salle, "Choose your Path" means that you have the privilege to explore many opportunities at La Salle and try new things. La Salle provides us students with many different options with classes, electives, clubs, and athletics, and allows us to find what we are interested in, and pursue it.

I have witnessed Lasallian Education in the classroom through my teachers' desire to continually challenge me academically, while always being a resource to provide extra help if needed. Outside the classroom, we are taught to be good men and act as gentlemen. Having been taught to be a gentleman here at La Salle is something I am going to carry with me throughout my entire life.

One of the many things that I love the most about La Salle is how welcoming everyone is to one another. The camaraderie between the students and the staff is special and everyone is always looking out for each others' best interests.

"I see the Lasallian Mission in our dedicated and talented faculty as our course offerings have expanded so much since I was student at La Salle, but also in our involvement in extra-curricular activities especially in service." - Mike McCabe

La Salle encourages our young men to choose their path, which encompasses the fullness of the experience here at La Salle – academically, spiritually, socially, and extra-curriculars. I see it every day in the students who push themselves to try something new – the student who takes his first AP class, the athlete who signs up for chorus, or more particularly, the number of clubs, sports, and activities represented in the 25 young men who make up our Speech & Debate Team.

I choose to teach at La Salle because working in this community is a privilege. Lasallian education is based on the relationships formed in community between students, students-faculty, and faculty-faculty. Those bonds create a transformative environment where some of my favorite experiences and memories occur outside the traditional classroom on service trips and retreats.

The La Salle College High School experience is different for each our students and no matter what path our students choose they are celebrated for their successes and placed in the care of incredibly talented coaches, directors, and moderators.- MM

“At La Salle, we study hard, think deeply, and train relentlessly to see how much we can learn or how fast we can run because we have a group of students that want to become the best versions of themselves.”

I see the mission of educating the entire individual at La Salle in the way teachers fully engage with students. Our students are not just a young man we interact with in the classroom, or the student-center, or at practice, but all of those things. We try to see a developing, maturing young man and the potential for him to grow and become the type of person who will contribute positively to society.

I love teaching and coaching at La Salle because our students embrace the process of working hard toward their greatness. It is not the final outcome that we focus on, but the daily effort to pursue excellence.

There are so many different opportunities for self-discovery. Students can choose academic, club, and athletic offerings that allow them to challenge themselves, work hard, and learn about dedication, team work, and resilience. There is a path for every student here to find out where their excellence can be persued.
