Summer Service Programs

Service is at the heart of what it means to be Catholic and Lasallian. The La Salle student's experience with service begins with Branch Out Day in the fall of freshmen year and broadens over the course of his academic career. The Summer Service program gives rising seniors opportunities to put faith into action around the country while strengthening bonds with classmates. Over the course of about a week, participants will gain understanding of Catholic Social Teaching and learn about the social, political, economic, religious, and cultural aspects of the lives of the people they serve. Each Summer Service trip is a transformative experience that builds character by embodying "Leave to Serve."

Applications are due Monday, December 2, 2024 by 10:00 pm.

The Office of Lasallian Mission and Ministry, along with faculty and staff members, is pleased to continue the Serve AC program this summer.  These four-night, five-day experiences will include education, prayer, reflection, and of course, multiple service opportunities in Atlantic City and surrounding communities.  The home base for the experience will be the Brigantine Community Presbyterian Church in Brigantine, NJ.  Students will need to bring their own sleeping bag, air mattress or cot as well as pillow and toiletries.
