The Men of La Salle serve the less fortunate in our community by helping to prepare and serve meals at Face to Face in Germantown (109 E. Price Street, Philadelphia, PA). We work the second Saturday of every month preparing serving meals.
In April and May of each year, fathers and sons join together to lay in a vegetable garden which provides healthy, nourishing food for months and months.
This is a great opportunity for fathers and sons to spend some time together in direct service, in the La Salle tradition, and in the spirit of the Lord who said, “I was hungry, and you fed me.”
Founded in 1984 as St. Vincent’s Soup Kitchen, Face to Face today provides a full range of programs and services for the health and well-being of the neediest members in the community. The Dining Room at Face to Face serves over 20,000 meals annually with the generous assistance of volunteers.

Our dedicated volunteers are the backbone to the success of our Auction. This is the main fundraiser for the Men of La Salle and directly helps the students we have committed to support. The Auction is a lot of fun, and you can help just by attending! Go to the Auction page for tickets, sponsorship information and item donation.
The Men of La Salle help with the Auction by setting up the school on the Thursday evening before – Thursday, Nov. 3. Then on Sunday, Nov 5 we come back to clean up. Come lend a hand!
We also have some opportunities the night of the auction, selling tickets and distributing prizes to the winners. You can be part of the fun and help the cause! Click on our volunteers link to sign up.
