Friday, January 26, 2018
Located at Dunleavy Center, Shared Treasures offers fantastic values on a wide variety of home décor and gently used men’s and women’s clothing.
We welcome your donations of gently used items, especially home goods. Blue blazers and any La Salle apparel are also popular items. All donations are tax-deductible. You can drop off your donations during the shop hours. Please email Kathy Caramenico if you would like to arrange a different drop off time.
Sales at “Shared Treasures,” the Mothers’ Club Alumnae Committee thrift shop, exceeded $6000 for the 2014-2015 school year. All items sold at Shared Treasures are donated, which enables the committee to pass on 100% of the proceeds to La Salle, which distributes the funds to students in need through the Student Emergency and 180 Degrees Funds.
We are open on Wednesdays (beginning September 9) from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and on the first and third Saturday of the month from 9:00 AM until 12 Noon. Shared Treasures is closed when La Salle is closed for holidays. etc.
180 DEGREES began in the spring of 2012 with the simple premise that it only takes 180 women giving $100 a year each to turn one young man's life 180 DEGREES.
Won’t you please join our group of 163 moms in their support of 180 DEGREES for the 2018-2019 school year? With Tuition now set at $23,050, we need to enlist more mothers to meet our goal. We are very grateful to all of those who have so generously contributed.
Through 180 DEGREES we can make it possible for one more woman's son to have the same experience our boys were given.
Individually not much can be accomplished today with $100. Collectively the possibilities are endless. Please consider seriously donating to this important fund. If we can change one life 180 DEGREES we can change the world one La Salle degree at a time.
If you would like to join in this wonderful way to support the education of a young man, make a donation online using the link below or contact Mr. Daniel McGowan.
The Alumnae Committee publishes a bimonthly eNewsletter during the school year and also periodically emails Mothers' Club Alumnae with event information and prayer requests. If you are not currently receiving the eNewsletter, please contact Kathy Caramenico.
