Terms and Conditions for SMS Messaging Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to La Salle College High School’s SMS Messaging Service. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our SMS messaging services. By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree with these Terms, you are not authorized to use our SMS messaging service.

2. Definitions

• "Service" refers to the SMS messaging service provided by La Salle College High School.
• "You" or "User" refers to any individual or entity using the Service.
• "Organization" refers to La Salle College High School, including its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, and employees.
• "Messages" refers to SMS (Short Message Service) communications sent by the Organization to the User.

3. Consent

By opting into the Service, you consent to receive SMS messages from the Organization. This consent is not a condition of any purchase.

4. Message Frequency

The frequency of messages sent will vary based on your interactions with the Organization and your subscription preferences. The Organization may send periodic updates, promotional messages, reminders, and other relevant information.

5. Charges and Fees

The Organization does not charge for the Service. However, standard message and data rates may apply as per your mobile carrier's plan. Please consult your mobile carrier for details on these rates.

6. Opting Out

You may opt-out of receiving SMS messages from the Organization at any time by:

• Texting "STOP" to [shortcode or phone number].
• Contacting our customer support by emailing support@lschs.org.

Upon receipt of your opt-out request, the Organization will promptly remove you from our SMS messaging list.

7. Privacy and Data Security

• The Organization is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information collected through the Service will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
• The Organization employs reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, the Organization cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. In such a scenario, you relieve La Salle of any liability.

8. User Obligations

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when opting in.
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
• Not use the Service to send unauthorized commercial communications.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organization from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service.

12. Modifications to Terms

The Organization reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting of the revised Terms. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
