Await approval, which could take up to six weeks.
Make donation to LSCHS.
LSCHS sends confirmation receipt to donor company.
Donor company sends receipt back to State.
Final confirmation letter from state is received and attached to company’s tax return.
If your business is filing for its second year of a 2-year commitment, or you have finished your 2-year commitment and wish to reapply to renew, you can file beginning May 15.
If you are a new applicant for the EITC/OSTC programs, please fill out the online application and submit it on Monday, July 3. Historically, all new funding is exhausted by the first day of applications, so it is imperative to apply promptly.
EITC dollars are used to provide need-based financial assistance to students who simply qualify based on the program's guidelines for household income. OSTC-funded students must qualify based on the program's guidelines for household income, but must ALSO reside within the boundaries of a failing school district, as defined by the state of Pennsylvania.
Yes! In conjunction with the organization Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools (BLOCS), individuals can join a Limited Liability Company (LLC) and divert their personal PA tax liability to La Salle in the form of EITC/OSTC dollars. With a 2-year commitment, individuals joining an LLC receive tax credits equaling 90% of their contribution.
